About

The world and its history have always fascinated me, which naturally led to a fulfilling decade as a social studies teacher. From the complexities of US History to the global connections found in World History, and even the practical lessons of Economics and Personal Finance, I loved sharing these subjects with my students. These experiences fueled my desire to explore how we can enhance learning – especially with the exciting possibilities technology offers.

My formal education started with a BS in Secondary Education in Comprehensive Social Studies from UNLV. Wanting to go even deeper, I earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Social Studies from Concordia University Portland. Currently, my passion for innovative learning has led me to pursue a Doctor of Education in Instructional Design and Technology from Liberty University. I'm particularly intrigued by how AI and gamification can reshape the classroom experience.
